According to the CDC:

More than two decades of research has shown that sexual violence and intimate partner violence are major public health problems with serious long-term physical and mental health consequences, as well as significant social and public health costs (e.g., Breiding, Black, & Ryan, 2008; Logan & Cole, 2007; Randall, 1990). 
We are a collaboration of women with martial arts, self-defense, and advocacy background who have partnered to bring you the best back-to-school self-defense class available. Our 4-hour seminar will include interactive classes on:
  • Hand-to-Hand Defenses
  • Ground Defense Strategies
  • Situational awareness training and how to secure your environment
  • Introduction to Non-Lethal Weapons
  • General Legal Aid Information
  • Support and Counseling Resources
Everyone will receive a gift that will help keep them safe. We will have a rape crisis advocate on site to help provide a safe-space to train in. We strive to create a comfortable environment that you fell supported in and won't feel intimidated.
